I set up my business as a professional maths tutor whilst on maternity leave in 2021 - this photo was taken just after my first online call! At the time I already had years of experience teaching, coaching and mentoring in various settings and have tutored on and off since I was a student teacher back in 2009. Over the years I have worked with students of all ages in order to help them discover their full learning potential. I’ve always loved helping others and enjoy making concepts and ideas accessible to everyone.

When I’m not teaching, I am mum to my own little gang (R, O, A and M) and our two spaniels, Polly and Jago. We love being outdoors as much as possible and I’m hugely passionate about outdoor education; my middle two attend a wonderful outdoor forest school that I will happily rave about to anyone and everyone. I am a huge music fan and good playlists are always encouraged in my lessons: if it includes Lana Del Rey or Bruce Springsteen you’ve instantly promoted yourself to favourite pupil status! We now live in Kinross-shire after seeking out a slower pace of life, but it very much feels fuller than ever. That said, I am beyond grateful to have the opportunity to work around my family and be there for the moments that really matter.
